Miu’s Grad Portraits at Harvard University, Inspired by Kodak Portra 400
As I prepare for this year’s grad season, I’ve been looking back at my past shoots — including this one with Miu at Harvard University, from four years ago! One of my favorite film stocks is Portra 400, which also inspired me while editing Miu’s portraits (shot digitally).

COLLEGE GRADUATES — the 2025 grad photos season is finally here! 🎓
You’ll only live through this moment once, so now’s the perfect time to invest in quality portraits that reflect the joy and honor that comes with this achievement!
I’m always looking for ways to break the mold, while embracing the qualities that make my work timeless. The goal is for my clients to feel comfortable and treasure the moments we documented. If you prefer quality over quantity, and creating together rather than just “getting photos done,” then I may be the perfect photographer for you ✨
A handful of people are already in my books for April and May, so please reach out as soon as possible if you have your heart set on working together! My calendar fills up quite fast by the time late April rolls around.
So excited to work with you all! 🥰📷
Trip to Spain (March 2020)
Scenes around Spain, from 5 years ago 🇪🇸
Although I mostly remember this trip fondly, I can’t understate the strange, underlying anxiety during our last couple of days here as the world slowly began to shut down. Spaces became quieter, people inching further from each other, every passing hour.
But it’s hard to feel completely uneasy when everything around you is so saturated. These are still some of my favorite travel photos I’ve taken :)

Twin Peaks 2025 Photography Project
“Diane, 11:30 a.m., February 24th. Entering the town of Twin Peaks.“ 🌲🦉☕️
If you know me, then you probably know that when a world profoundly speaks to me, it’s only a matter of time before I’m completely entranced — hungry to uncover its darkest secrets and interpretations for myself. I begin to live and breathe it: soundtracks rule my everyday, faces seeping into my dreams until I have no choice but to create something of my own. David Lynch’s world of Twin Peaks has that effect on me.
It almost feels silly to admit, but I’ve always been fascinated by darkness: in its simplest visual form, but also in all its unknowns. It can be intoxicating, sometimes comforting, and it can tear you apart. I knew Twin Peaks would change the trajectory of my creative process when Agent Dale Cooper not only listened to the dark of his dreams, but was not afraid to make it known.
Reality has rules, but spirituality appears to and through us in countless forms. It’s hard to imagine one could describe their strangest dreams to every brain on earth and expect them all to understand with flawless clarity. In my own life, there is still so much of my interior world that I haven’t explained to people. I know it’s primarily for me, even when that space can be absurd beyond articulation. But since Lynch’s passing, I feel encouraged to translate those interior experiences, regardless of their making sense. After all, Lynch was well aware of life (and thus art) not always making sense.
His messages, both visual and verbatim, remind me that each of us are worlds — universes full of weird and wondrous visions. If I’ve internalized anything from his filmography, it is that visions deserve to live.

Fall Senior Portraits at the Boston Public Garden w/ Madeline
This past season of senior photos, I spent more time at the Public Garden than any other year! I completely get why so many seniors want to have their photos taken here. It’s so serene all year round ☺️

Katie Gavin at Brighton Music Hall on Dec 14, 2024
If you’re familiar with the edgy, yet endearing style of pop band MUNA, then you likely wouldn’t be surprised by lead vocalist Katie Gavin’s incredible versatility.
Last week, the singer-songwriter and musician brought her very first headlining “What A Relief” tour to Brighton Music Hall — in promotion of her debut solo album under the same name.
During her December 14th stop in Boston, MA, Katie Gavin radiated an intimate, cozy energy from the moment she stepped on stage. At both corners of the stage were two small tables, adorned with an assortment of glowing salt lamps, candles, and two mugs, in which Gavin ceremoniously poured steaming tea from a strawberry-red pot. It all felt warm and intentional.
Gavin began her set with “Today,” a tender, melodious track about loneliness — and yet Gavin’s vocals and steady acoustic guitar made the space feel otherwise. This opening track along with the rest of her setlist have an atmospheric quality that invites you to listen closer and feel deeper. If Katie Gavin’s new solo venture has shown us anything, it’s that true artists stop at nothing to defy expectations and tell their stories however they feel is most authentic to their unraveling self-discovery.
